Lavender oil Barreme is made from lavender flower spikes by steam distillation. Lavender Barremea is intentionally the most relaxing of the lavenders. Grown in the chalky soil and dry climate of the Barreme region of France, this lavender has an overwhelming floral aroma and high therapeutic benefits. Lavender, which replaces more than 50% of naturally occurring aroma esters, has a fresh, floral aroma. Valued as one of the market's quality more lavenders.
This is an altitude grown lavender with a really high ester content (52%: linalyl, terpenyl, lavandulyl and geranyl acetates), which is why it is considered a 50-52% oil. The higher the concentration of linalool and linalyl acetate, the more relaxing properties lavender oil is supposed to have.
